2011 Keystone Invitational
Saucon Valley Country Club
Center Valley, PA
Thank you to all of our donors and sponsors for making the 2010 Keystone Invitational a success!
Junior Achievement (JA) is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Junior Achievement programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action, and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
In addition to local corporation and foundation sponsorships, JA relies heavily on events such as our annual Keystone Invitational to help fund the costs of delivering these programs. The Keystone Invitational is an exclusive golf outing attended by the top-level executives in our region. Held at the beautiful Saucon Valley Country Club, the event offers sponsors a first-class atmosphere where participants can enhance relationships with customers, prospects, and community leaders.
Upon arrival, valets immediately pamper guests by taking their cars to be washed and taking the care to mind their golf bags and clubs. Volunteers then guide participants inside the clubhouse where they are presented with fine gifts and amenities. A full buffet awaits them on the scenic patio overlooking the course. Guests are also treated to a relaxing pre-game massage as provided at no cost by our licensed massage therapist.
After breakfast, a Scottish bag piper sounds golfers and their caddies to commence their golfing experience in tradition and style with a shot-gun start and hole-in-one, longest drive, and closest to the pin contests. A grilled luncheon is served on the course along with beverages at varying stations throughout.
After completing 18 holes of golf, guests return to the clubhouse and enjoy a cocktail reception for guests to celebrate their day. Dinner culminates with a brief awards ceremony and is highlighted with parting gifts.
