The True Meaning Of Life Is To Plant Trees, Under Whose Shade You Do Not Expect To Sit

Since the founding of Junior Achievement in 1919, millions of students worldwide have been taught to recognize their ability to affect the outcome of their lives and the lives of those around them. JA's programs begin in kindergarten and end in twelfth grade. Throughout those years our programs teach critical thinking. This thinking focuses on complex issues most people encounter their entire lives; working and managing money. Investing in these programs is investing in an effort to have a more responsible generation controlling the future.

Volunteers from the community give students real-world examples of success. These dedicated volunteers make economic concepts seem relevant, explore the idea of entrepreneurial thinking, and challenge individuals to excell. By providing students with teachers who are already out in the workforce JA is setting students up with role models and mentors. When students participate in Junior Achievement programs they demonstrate an understanding of economics and business concepts that they would otherwise not have had access to. This is especially evident in children who are involved in consecutive grade levels of Junior Achievement programs.

Please help us continue this legacy of creating responsible citizens and making a donation to the Junior Achievement Endowment Fund. This fund will ensure
that JA programs will continue to serve the students of your community and ones like
it. Our goal is to raise $3,000,000. This goal is more than attainable with a community
so generously aiding us. Through commitments of our board of directors, we have over
$50,000 toward our goal. Please support our efforts.

Donors who wish to learn more about unique giving options to help build the fund may contact Robin Costenbader-Jacobson, JA President and CEO, at 610-373-3500.

Your gifts help to shape lives...lives that make a difference in living.  Please be generous.
