Be A Classroom Consultant!
Classroom Consultants visit the classroom for forty-five minutes each week for five to ten weeks.
Consultants teach a curriculum established by Junior Achievement.
Consultants are an integral part of our organization and have the ability to make a real impact on a student's life.
Please volunteer! JA is always in need of more consultants.
What JA Provides
- Training on the course(s) you will be teaching
- All the classroom materials including a teacher's guide, handouts, and the pre/post-tests
- A handy carrying case to keep all your class materials organized and easy to transport
- The opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of kids
What Classroom Consultants Provide
- A complete copy of your Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance and Criminal Background Check prior to teaching a JA Class
- Standard business attire or casual business attire for all classroom visits.
- Appropriate language and behavior while in the classroom
- Dependability...be prompt, dependable and reliable.
- A desire to inspire
